Why do we meet people but eventually lose them in the end?

February 4, 2008

To love someone and to be loved by that someone is sure great luck! But what happens when that someone suddenly utters goodbye? After all that has been said and done, all the plains laid down and affection shared - who would ever think that things could still go wrong? When this dreadful day comes, where do you start picking yourself?

Pain, according to Mr. Webster, is a physical or mental suffering. But to someone who feels pain because of goodbye, it is far beyond any dictionary can define. You feel pain when you know you've given too much. When all of a sudden, you're almost at the peak of bankruptcy.

But goodbye isn't always a sad or painful nor a dreadful one. Sometimes one has to say it in order to let things work out right. When things start to mess up and you think there is no really other route to rearrange or organize the stuff, then might as well bid each other farewell. It is better to be hurt now than accept pain when things have gone far.

When one says goodbye, try to know why. If it happens to be reasonable, accept it. Be mature enough to accept that things don't always go the way we hoped they'd be nor the way we planned them to be. Sometimes we wonder why things have to end. Well simply, another is yet to start.
